Historical Sketch

 

            The history of East Bay Chapter Organization is very sketchy.  The East Bay Chapter is one of the organizations under California Association of the Deaf (CAD).  It is located in San Francisco Bay Area.

            California Association of the Deaf was founded in 1906 and incorporated in 1914. CAD is one of the organizations under National Association of the Deaf (NAD). 

 

 

Scope and Content

 

The East Bay Chapter collection contains one box with letters, news information, constitutions, flowchart of officers, donations, financial reports, and notes of meetings. The collection, which consists of approximately 50 papers, dated from 1964 to 1987.
